Notes that appear with a mouse shake
Lume is a native Windows notes app (WinUI 3, no Electron) that stays hidden until you need it. Shake your mouse or press a shortcut, write, and press Esc — it’s gone. Beyond quick notes: a scratchpad that does maths as you type, freehand drawing on notes, and local-first storage with optional OneDrive sync. Free for up to 20 notes. Reading, search and export always stay free.
Lume is a Windows company. It launched on Product Hunt on Oct 1, 2026, with 75 upvotes.
